Sala is an ongoing talk series anchoring the stories of artists in Chicago through topics such as grief, labor, abolition, healing, environmental justice, community work, and movement building. The multimedia project, now in its third season includes radio interviews, public programming, and an archival self-published zine.

Season 2+3 is supported by Hyde Park Art Center’s Artists Run Chicago Fund in partnership with Art Design Chicago, a citywide collaboration initiated by the Terra Foundation for American Art that highlights the city’s artistic heritage and creative communities.

The Ignite Fund which supported season 1, is a Regional Regranting Program administered by 3Arts and supported by The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. The Ignite Fund provides grants of $1,500 to $6,000 to Chicago-area artists and/or artist-led collectives producing community focused, public-facing projects that center the visual arts.
